DNA of a Pro-Gamer – A content campaign for Currys PC World x Intel

About the campaign

Esports has never been so huge! This campaign provided a thorough exploration into the world of pro-gaming, including who the top players are and how they go to where they are, what the top competitive games and genres are, how much the biggest prizes amount to, and stats about the industry as a whole. The campaign is presented on a multi-page microsite with summaries of our findings and data visualisations. We also collaborated with three experts in the industry for additional insights.

My role

I was involved in this campaign from the initial brainstorm, through to the PR outreach phase. I was responsible for data collection and analysis, and the writing of all copy across the microsite and Tech Talk blog, as well as additional press materials. I also took a lead role in interviewing our three experts and liaising with the design team to decide on the layout of the site and how data would be visualised.

Objectives

Devise a campaign that will deliver links to the Intel 10th Gen processors and gaming laptop pages on the Currys PC World site, and drive visibility within Google for associated keywords.

The Campaign
