Bucket List Burner – A content campaign for Currys PC World x Samsung

About the campaign

Life is for exploring, so why not see the world and get fit while you’re at it? In collaboration with the Samsung Galaxy Smartwatch, The Bucket List Burner highlights 12 active adventures to enjoy in various destinations around the world. For each activity, we estimated how long it will take to complete, how many steps you’re likely to take and how many calories could be burned during it. We also identified a local delicacy to try in each destination – and how much of it that you can savour for the calories burned during your activity.

My role

I was involved in this campaign from the initial brainstorm, through to the PR outreach phase. I was responsible for writing the campaign landing page copy, as well as an accompanying blog post to sit on the Currys PC World content hub and an outreach pack outlining all the key information from the campaign. I collaborated with another member of the team to calculate the step count and calorie burn data for each activity.

Objectives

Devise a campaign that will deliver links to the Samsung Galaxy Watch product and Samsung Smart Watches segment page on the Currys PC World site, and drive visibility within Google for associated keywords.
