Unoccupied Homes in England – A content campaign for HomeProtect

About the campaign

Are we a nation of holiday homers, investors or property abandoners? This campaign investigated where the most unoccupied properties are in England and why they are sitting empty. We collected and analysed government data to reveal trends, while also collaborating with an industry expert to shed some light on the situation.

My role

I was involved in this campaign from the brainstorm phase through to publication. I produced the campaign copy and interview questions for an industry expert. I also collected extensive data on unoccupied properties in England to analyse trends and draw conclusions in connection with the expert insights received in the interview.

Objectives

Increase visibility for ‘unoccupied property insurance’ related keywords by earning links from relevant, high authority publications and sites back to the HomeProtect site.

Increase brand awareness for HomeProtect, as well as its offerings such as unoccupied property insurance.
