Currys X Samsung Galaxy Digital PR Campaign

An SEO-driven Digital PR campaign for Currys and the Samsung Galaxy Smartwatch.

The objectives

  • Devise a campaign that will deliver links to the Samsung Galaxy Watch product and Samsung Smart Watches segment page on the Currys PC World site, and drive visibility within Google for associated keywords.

  • Drive awareness and sales of the Samsung Galaxy Smartwatch by positioning it as the ideal companion for adventurous travellers.

The concept

We partnered with Samsung to create the "Bucket List Burner," a digital travel guide featuring 12 curated global adventures. Each adventure detailed estimated activity times, step counts, and potential calorie expenditure, all easily tracked with a Samsung Galaxy Smartwatch.

We also incorporated local culinary experiences, calculating permissible indulgences based on activity calorie burn.

The strategy

The guide included direct links to the Samsung Galaxy Watch product and smartwatch category pages on Currys. A targeted SEO strategy, focusing on keywords like "adventure travel" and "fitness tracking," maximised organic visibility within Google search.
